Commercial Slab Saw Cutting

Muslim Community Center, Pleasanton

We recently completed a precision saw cutting project for the Muslim community center building in Pleasanton that was undergoing renovations. The project involved creating trenches both inside and outside the building to allow for the installation of new underground utility lines serving additional restroom facilities.

Working closely with the general contractor and following the engineer’s instructions, we carefully cut and removed sections of reinforced concrete to the required dimensions while ensuring every cut met the project’s layout requirements. The existing slab averaged 6 inches thick, with certain areas approaching 8 inches.

Because a portion of the work took place inside an occupied structure, protecting the surrounding environment was one of our highest priorities. We selected equipment specifically suited for indoor operation, controlled dust and noise as much as possible, and carefully managed slurry throughout the cutting process to prevent water and debris from spreading into finished areas. Floors, walls, and adjacent surfaces were protected so the work area remained clean, organized, and ready for the next phase of construction.
